Introducing Somsi Couture — Wedding Dresses that are Uniquely You

We LOVE Monique Lhuillier, but we were beyond thrilled to find the boutique line – Somsi Couture.   Using luxurious silks and exquisite draping, Somsi creates some of the most modern and striking wedding gowns in the country.  Recently a few of this San Diego based designer’s samples came into our hands and we are excited to share them with you.

Somsi Couture is known for contemporary wedding gowns that are unique, chic, and elegant. All Somsi Couture gowns are made right here in the USA – not across the Pacific. Somsi’s passion for fashion, love for beautiful things, and constant search and demand for uniqueness, has lead her to designing a collection of unique one-of-a-kind gowns for the fashion savvy bride. Beautiful in both spirit and talent, Somsi is a designer worth walking down the aisle in!

In a recent conversation with Somsi, she was kind enough to answer of these questions…

What inspired you to design wedding dresses?

“LOVE”

Do you have a clothing or wedding dress designer you admire?

“John Galliano for Christian Dior”

I’m sure each new design is like birthing a child and you love them all.  But, do you secretly have a favorite?

“I love them all….they are all unique in their own way and very dear to my heart”

Do you have any tips for a bride who is just starting her wedding dress search?

“Be yourself…”
